ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Welcome to Eagle's Nest, the before and after school childcare program at Sunol Glen for TK-8th grade students. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, providing flexible scheduling options for parents. Our program features a variety of engaging and enriching activities that support both fun and learning for your child.

Homework Club

We recognize the importance of academic support, which is why we offer Homework Club Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 to 3:45 PM. During this time, children have access to staff assistance to help with homework, ensuring they stay on top of assignments in a supportive, focused environment.

Exciting Activities on Minimum Days

On minimum days, we offer exciting and creative activities to keep children engaged. Activities include pottery painting, STEAM projects, and a mix of physical, creative, and hands-on fun, ensuring every child has a memorable experience. Eagle’s Nest is dedicated to providing a well-rounded childcare program where children can grow, learn, and thrive in a positive and safe environment!

HOW TO ENROLL

Welcome to the Eagle's Nest Application process!

Please download the complete application for your child's grade level from the link below.

Review the application and initial, sign and date where required. Once completed, return a printed hard copy to the Main Office: Attn: Eagle's Nest Director, along with the $40 application fee. The Director will contact you once the application is received and provide the next steps. If you need immediate care, please email the director directly at kcollier@sunol.k12.ca.us.

All applications for the current school year 24-25 must be received by the 15th of each month to receive care on the first of the following month.
Applications for the upcoming school year 25-26, will be available in May and due by July 15th.

Expanded Learning Opportunities Program

Eagle’s Nest is Sunol Glen’s before and after-school student care program. For the 2024-25 school year, the program will be transitioning to include an expanded learning opportunity program (ELO-P). ELO-P provides funding from the California Department of Education for after-school and summer enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. “Expanded learning” means before-school, after-school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing pupils' academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Priority enrollment in the ELO-P is given to students with the highest needs, including our homeless, foster youth, economically disadvantaged, and Emerging Bilingual students. We are excited about this transition and to be able to offer a more robust before and after-school care program for all of our families.
