Eagle's Nest/ELO-P
Eagle's Nest/Expanded Learning Opportunities Program
Eagle’s Nest is Sunol Glen’s before and after-school student care program. The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) at Sunol Glen Unified School District provides after-school and summer enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth-grade students. Funded by the California Department of Education, ELO-P focuses on academic support and personal development, offering hands-on, engaging learning experiences that address students’ educational, social-emotional, and physical needs. Priority enrollment is given to students with the highest needs, including those who are homeless, foster youth, economically disadvantaged, or Emerging Bilingual.
In addition to academic enrichment, the program offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as arts and crafts, recreational programs, and physical activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. ELO-P ensures students have access to a safe, supportive environment before and after school and during school breaks.
This program is a key part of our district's commitment to providing well-rounded, inclusive educational experiences for all students.
To learn more, please email the Director, Kirsten Collier-Kotsakis, or the Principal, Shay Galletti.

Homework Club
We recognize the importance of academic support, which is why we offer Homework Club Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 to 3:45 PM. During this time, children have access to staff assistance to help with homework, ensuring they stay on top of assignments in a supportive, focused environment.
Exciting Activities on Minimum Days
On minimum days, we offer exciting and creative activities to keep children engaged. Activities include pottery painting, STEAM projects, and a mix of physical, creative, and hands-on fun, ensuring every child has a memorable experience. Eagle’s Nest is dedicated to providing a well-rounded childcare program where children can grow, learn, and thrive in a positive and safe environment!
