On February 1, 2024, Superintendent Molleen Barnes announced her intent to retire in June 2024 after 16 years of service to students at Sunol Glen Unified School District and 37 total years experience working in public school education.

 

The Sunol Glen School Board is in the process of conducting an Executive Search for the District’s next Superintendent. Leadership Associates, an executive search firm, was selected to advise the Board in this important process. Alameda County Office of Education has provided this press release as the hiring process moves forward.
